Tools, links, and builder support.

A practical library for fellows, partners, and supporters: articles, guides, education, external resources, and the full maker lab finder.

Maker lab finder

Find maker labs and production-capable CNC partners.

The maker lab finder helps compare labs by distance, access, equipment, source evidence, and directions. After WikiHouse feedback, the map is also expanding toward small CNC wood shops, joinery workshops, cabinet makers, and kitchen manufacturers that may have unused production capacity.

How it connects to 500 Acres

  • Shows documented shops, labs, school spaces, and production-capable CNC partners across mapped areas.
  • Supports CNC, woodworking, training, student labs, and local manufacturing partner searches.
  • Maker Lab Map P is publicly credited as made by one of our fellows, Anant Madhok.
  • Can include Innovator Barndo once its exact address, access model, and source-backed equipment list are finalized.
